Mariachi Music

Santiago Ramirez, present director of the Mariachi Colorado, was once a violinist for the globally famous Mariachi Vargas of Tecalitlan.  Santiago sings and plays violin with the Mariachi Colorado. Ramirez was raised in Guanajuato, Mexico and grew up around mariachi music.  Several members of his family are also in the band, including his daughter Delores, who also plays the violin.
