This recording is nostalgic to the Hannah boys.  Celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, has been an essential, as well as delightful part of our lives, and carol-singing has rung throughout the Hannah household, from our infancy until now.  As you listen to us harmonizing these familiar tunes, we hope you too, will be blessed by the ancient lyrics and melodies that have celebrated the birth of our Lord for hundreds of years.  They may even stir fond memories of your own childhood Christmases.

Christmas by Sons of the San Joaquin    The Sons lend their wonderful harmonies and extraordinary solo vocals to 11 traditional Christmas songs.  Those are "Deck The Halls," "Silent Night," "Do You Hear What I Hear," "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear," "I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day," "Little Drummer Boy," "O Little Town Of Bethlehem," "I’ll Be Home For Christmas," "O Holy Night," and "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer."  All of the songs are produced in a western style which make them especially interesting.    Special to note is Joe Hannah’s magnificent, shiver-rendering solo of "O Holy Night."  Awesome.
