Written by Bill Monroe in 1946, and recorded by his band The Bluegrass Boys, "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" has also been recorded by the likes of Patsy Cline, Leann Rimes, Elvis Presley, and others. The song is also listed as "The Kentucky State Bluegrass Song."
